Small Business Saturday

You all probably know about Black Friday, but did you know that this Saturday is “Small Business Saturday”?  In honor of small business, I am running a special this Saturday, November 24.  My online store will feature a one-day only special so you can purchase four Christmas nativity ornaments at a 15.25% discount!  That means you’ll get four Christmas Nativity ornaments for right around $100, a savings of $18.

Small Business Saturday

You can choose which four nativity ornaments you wish to purchase…I offer the Southwestern Christmas Nativity Ornament and the Christmas Nativity Ornament with the option of Dark, Light or Tan skin tone.

If you live locally and would like to forgo the delivery charge, connect with me on December 8 at the Christmas Artisan Market.  This show is located at East Heights United Methodist Church,  4404 E. Douglas in Wichita, and goes from 9 am to 3 pm.  This Market will be a great way to get very unique and hand crafted Christmas gifts to give to someone special.

Small Business Saturday

I cannot say enough about supporting small business entrepreneurs. Our children ran their own farmer’s market business (Hobbs Heritage) for 14 years. Not only did they learn so much about marketing, but valuable skills for life. I myself sold crafts and Christmas ornaments for years at craft shows before having my children. We so appreciated loyal customers and their support.

Hope to hear from you or connect with you in person soon!  You can always contact me via my contact form if you have any questions.

Southwestern Christmas Nativity & Ornaments in Stock!

Southwestern Christmas Nativity

Hey, everyone!  I just wanted to let you know that I have several new options for your Christmas shopping list!  New Southwestern Christmas nativities and Southwestern style ornaments have been created and are now in stock. These feature beautiful, handcrafted clay figurines.  Each nativity sets in a clay “terra cotta pot” with clay rocks & cactus / other plant material.

My goal in creating unique variations on the Christmas nativity scene is to allow people to better connect with Jesus’ birth and to show them that Jesus came to save all people.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ~ Isaiah 9:6

To purchase these new Southwestern Christmas nativity ornament or large clay nativity, you can visit my Shop page.

Fall Artisan Festival

Please join me next Saturday, November 10, for the Fall Artisan Festival at the University Methodist Church, located just north of WSU at 2220 N. Yale (Click for map).  I’ll be selling my beautiful handcrafted Christmas clay nativities…you don’t want to miss this special event!

Shari's Christmas Clay Nativities are handcrafted and will be available for purchase at the Fall Artisan Festival on Nov 10, 2018!

The show includes talented artists and crafters who specialize in handcrafted items – a great way to get a jump on your Christmas list if you enjoy gifting unique hand crafted items.  They will also be serving lunch and selling home baked goods.

If you are on Facebook, you can preview some of the featured artist vendors on the Fall Artisan Festival page or learn more about the event here.

This is the first time for me to be in this show.  I’m excited to see how it goes and to celebrate will be running a very unique special on my Christmas clay nativity ornaments.  You will have to stop by to see what it is, I guarantee it will be worth your time if you are interested in gifting several ornaments.

The challenging aspect of doing a show is that I try to have lots of inventory available which means I’ve been working diligently – each ornament or one of the Christmas clay nativities is made individually.  The colors are mixed carefully one at a time to create one of a kind ornaments.   They do take a lot of time to make but that is because I try to pay special attention to detail. You might not realize how much time they take when you see many displayed at once.  Please pick one up and look at the detail so you can see for yourself what I mean.

I love Christmas because we celebrate the greatest Gift ever given to man, the gift when God became man to save us from our sins.  I also love nativities because they remind me of the why we celebrate Christmas which is why I created this design and hope to develop others in the near future.

Please do stop by next Saturday and check out my ornament special.  I’d also appreciate your feedback about my artwork, including the Christmas clay nativities – feel free to send ideas that might help me create new designs.  You can reach me via my contact form.
